Who pays for customs and duties charges?

UNITED KINGDOM 
 

Customs, Duties & Taxes is collected for United Kingdom & European Union countries and is payable to Bardot at the time of checkout.

EUROPEAN UNION
 

VAT is collected  and is payable to Bardot at the time of checkout. As orders are dispatched from our warehouse in the Netherlands, customers within the European Union will not incur customs duties on their purchases.

REST OF EUROPE
 

Please note that the prices displayed on our website, as well as any shipping and handling charges, do not include customs duties, taxes, or import fees that may be applicable in your destination country.

These charges are determined and collected by your local customs authority and are not imposed or received by Bardot. Payment of any customs duties, taxes, or import fees is the responsibility of the customer and may be required before your order can be delivered.

For further information regarding any applicable charges, we recommend contacting your local customs office.

Bardot has a legal obligation to honestly declare the value and status of your parcel, and as such parcels cannot be marked as a gift.

Please note: If you choose to reject the parcel due to customs duties or taxes owed upon delivery, return shipping costs will be deducted from any refund issued. Refunds will only be provided for eligible items in accordance with our Returns Policy.
